Review Baby Girl Erik Ead Trilogy #1

Baby Girl Erik Ead Trilogy #1 Read  9 This is the first book in a series of three in the life of Erik Ead Erik is a psychiatrist He rides a motorcycle in a Motorcycle Club He is tattooed He is confident to the point of perceived arrogance Erik does not believe in love and he doesn’t live in a mansion he rides a motorcycle in a MC He does not have an airplane Erik is extremely confident real and knows what he wants He wants a woman to submit; with no commitment for love Erik will settle for nothing less than owning KelliKelli is a college graduate scheduled to go to a university at the end of the summer She meets Erik who is older tha Baby Girl is the story of Erik and Kelli Two people who want similar things in life Erik is thirty six years old a biker covered in tattoos a psychologist and a dominant He doesn t do long term relationships but he lets it be known upfront Kelli is fifteen years his junior She is a recent college graduate her father owns a BMW dealership that he plans on her taking over in the near future She also doesn t do relationships Just sex And lots of it When they meet it is lust at first sight They spend time together but their relationship is purely sexual They are both okay with that in fact that is what they both prefer This is not your typical romance but the time Erik and Kelli spend together the their ideas about love and relationships start to change Could Kelli be different from all the other woman Erik has been with He feels different with her For the fist time he misses someone when they aren t with him It s a big deal And for the first time Kelli finds her self wanting to be with a man please him and not just sexually Neither of them have been in a normal relationship so they have a long journey ahead of them if they want to make this work Looking beyond life s imperfections allows one to be able to find happiness Life is not perfect ever For me remembering that life is flawed people are flawed and therefore relationships are flawed allows me to look at the flaws and imperfections as part of life itself A perfect life includes all of the flaws associated with what and who you surround yourself with My life and my means of living it are no exception I was as all people are flawed I accepted myself as being flawed no differently than I accepted others as being so It seems that people are either loving or hating this book I for one am right down the middle This is just my honest opinion For those of you that loved it I think thats awesome For those that hated it I appreciate your opinions and honest reviews For me its easy to write a review on a book I hated or loved It is hardest for me to write a review on one that is right down the middle so bear with me I didn t hate it there were things I liked but I also can t say I loved it There were some things that just didn t work for me What didn t work for me Personally I couldn t make a connection to either one of the main characters at first It took me a bit to connect with and like Erik but I did It took me even longer to warm up to Kelli but once again I did As overconfidentcocky as Erik seemed in the beginning he really grew on me I ended up liking him a lot by the end of the book There are also a few editing issues I try not to judge too harshly on that especially with self published books but I know it really bothers some people so I thought I d throw it in there Then there is the kids issue view spoilerI have absolutely no problem with people not wanting kids I think as long as they are upfront about it with their partners it s all good It works for a lot of people especially if they are on the same page with that But to say you hate kids in general I guess some people do but for some reason it just rubbed me the wrong way It didn t effect my rating or anything just thought I d throw it in there hide spoiler

Baby Girl Erik Ead Trilogy #1 Read  9 N she is Immediately she is intrigued by him Kelli has never been in a relationship at all Kelli has spent her life being promiscuous and using men for sex Kelli after meeting Erik wants to do nothing but please him Kelli doesn’t uite understand why and waits on Erik to explain to her why she is the way she is and what to do nextLove isn't real Love is what people say to you so they can keep fucking you So they can keep your interest I don't want lies I want my ass slapped my hair pulled and treated like a little whore – Kelli with an “I”When these two begin to spend time together things be OK so initially I DNF d this yesterday but then decided to go back and finish it I felt it was only fair to dislike it based on all of the content not just some of it Mission Accomplished There is a fine line between confidence and arrogance To me Christian Gideon James and Jesse are all sexy and alluring men who oozed confidence and power I think that was the target audience this author was trying for and missed it by a mile Erik Ead is an arrogant a hole who is painfully insecure and I could not find a single thing to like about him The author has also mentioned several times in other forums that Baby Girl is based on his life and that he is Erik Ead essentially Hmmmwell if I believe that then I can t knock him for sharing his story and putting it down on paper For that he received one star The second star was because he actually took the scary step of publishing it for the public to read See two stars for Baby Girl right out of the gate but that s where the stars stoppedPositive stuff and yes there were some positives I loved the story Teddy told about A Train and his cheating wife Hilarious I wonder if that s true I loved the little bit about Kelli and her dad and then reading Gene s POV I also loved how the index finger thing came together Erik and Kelli both hate kids so hopefully they will not be procreating fingers crossed Now for the negatives And there s a lotBoth characters were extremely cocky and completely oblivious to the rules of decency Their level of arrogance was unbelievable and beyond annoying KelliUgh I ll let her speak for herself I was almost always the smartest person in the room and always the smartest girlHmmwow Only if she was in a room by herself and in a room full of guys making her the only girl There wasn t a single thing she said or did that made her seem brilliant to me She was a very insecure twat with whore tendenciesYes I said it let me explain Love isn t real Love is what people say to you so they can keep fucking you So they keep your interest I don t want lies I want my ass slapped my hair pulled and to be treated like a whoreSee her words not mine I love my eyes watering and acting like I m gagging even if I m not gagging naturally Stop I can t there s Once she realized she had no gag reflex oh it was on like Donkey Kong after that Starting that summer I sucked off every guy I could See A geniusAlright one last oneand I think this is my favorite Pleasing a man made me happy especially if he was married and disappointed his wife When he came in my mouth I felt like I had truly accomplished something To all of us dumb people See what happens when you use your head OK Yes I realize that she has some very deep issues but I just can t bring myself to care So moving on Mr Erik Nobody s On My Level Ead I ve found that since the completion of college 12 years worth which was mentioned over and over that I alter my speech patterns and my demeanor based on who I m with Hang on it gets better There was nothing worse than being around someone that made you feel uneasy or tried to talk above your ability to comprehend Well gosh thanks Erik us regular folks sure do appreciate you dumbing yourself down for usHe also mentioned several times that women found him Kind considerate articulate caring and even romantic What a princeAt one point Kelli asked him the very cliche uestion of Do you believe in love He proceeds to verbally vomit a bunch of blah blah Freudian crap for three pages before he finally gets around to answering her uestion which wasn t really an answer by the way Most of his POV felt like I was reading one of my old psychology text books Other annoying things I just gotta mention At least 8 shameless plugs of his other book I will not mention the name The repeated use of the same words in a paragraph His kisses drove me crazy I wanted his kisses to last forever Kissing Erik made all other things smallAs we kissed his finger traced the outline of my upper lip Our lips parted and he touched my lips with his index finger circling around my upper and lower lips entirely The most overly dramatic sex scenes ever and what s worse is that I read that he had to cut them back at least three times before he got the approval to keep them in the book WowHe must be a beast in real life then purses lips and shakes head The jeans scene at The Buckle was trifling Kelli should be ashamed of herself It was a dirty nasty and skanky thing to do You would think someone as smart her would know better right How many times can Kelli say how much she loves it when Erik calls her baby girl A lot as it turns out I think we got it after the first few times precious The fact the Channing Tatum was used repeatedly to describe Erik I m offended for Channing and I want to apologize to him kisses to CT Deep smart intelligent and muscular deep smart intelligent muscular were used constantly in random combinations to describe Erik Finally WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THIS WHOLE STORY I missed itOK that s enough you get the idea Will I continue reading the series AHell yes It was way too fun to miss out on I can t wait to hear what new egotistical bullshit Erik the Almighty will bless us with and the continued gems of wisdom we ll get from Kelli with an i Ah I must be losing my mindrant over

Baby Girl Erik Ead Trilogy #1 Read  9 Gin to change; personalities interests and the need for affection What happens is something that must be experienced by the reader This book is again not watered down This book has tremendous depth to those that are looking to find it It will upon completion allow you into the minds hearts and heads of people as they develop a Ds relationshipAgain if you have always wondered about what a Dominantsubmissive relationship is all about – less the airplanes mansions and billions read Baby Girl It’s real it’s raw and it’s got the hottest steamiest real sex you can imaginePlan on being up all nigh 35 Epic Moments of Awesome Stars I have been interested in checking this series out for awhile and when Heather via The Snarky Bloggerswas nice enough to offer me the series in exchange for an honest review it seemed like a no brainer I heard previously that this bookseries wasn t for everyone and since I am open minded unless we re talking brothersister lovin shivers I can read pretty much anything and give it a try So I ll approach this from what I didn t like so much and then what I liked and loved I found some of the dialogue to be repetitive or too descriptive of every action at times I thought some of the paragraphs could have been concise in some areas as well At times I found Erik so clinical that it was difficult to feel a connection to him that was so in the beginning though as he expressed a great deal of emotions as the book progressed I m not so big on the Psychodynamic approach but that s due to a theoretical preference and not a criticism I would have liked for of the information to be stated as the characters truth and not so much as a universal truth I won t go into too many specifics because I don t want to give any elements of the story away I just felt that some of the explanations will resonate with some and for others will not and that could be a slippery slope Kelli was odd to me at times as a woman and lastly I would ve liked a few interactions with them whether they turned sexual or not Now for what I liked and LOVEDI LOVED the way that Erik analyzed Kelli and his uestions always had a purpose and deep meaning to them I loved how he complimented her and recognized what she needed in order to feel cared for and gave it to her I loved that Kelli was aware of and accepted herself as a sexual being It was a little over the top a time or two but overall it was a positive thing that she recognized what she was good at what she liked and what she wanted sexually I really liked how they grew open and in accepting their faults and the difficulties that they ve had to overcome that framed who they were they were able to grow together There were several awesomely insightful nuggets of information that I know I will file away and ponder later I think for someone who has no exposure or little exposure to psychology this could be very educationalFavorite Scenes When the meaning of three uestions were revealed The blindfold Kelli telling her best friend what she wants the final scene of the book heart totally melted Overall I did enjoy this one and I am looking forward to continuing on and seeing how these two do or don t make things work and what hurdles and difficulties are ahead
