Yehoshua review השיבה מהודו 103 Un a impossibile è il dono che il giovane medico israeliano Benij Rubin porta con sé al ritorno dall'India Eppure uel viaggio non doveva essere nient'altro che un'occasione di carri I am irritated by how absorbing this book was and I have surprised myself ultimately by liking it The narrator lacks morality in a profound way acting to satisfy his own desires and thereby endangering the happiness of those close to him fuller remarkable characters Of course people do that all the time but this man someone so attractive on the surface doesn t even register the risk he puts to those others in his lifeUltimately I am glad I read this book although I am relieved to have finished it for it plays with some interesting ideas but it is not epic Many of the central characters are irritating but I found the characters surrounding the central ones captured me and in this way I cared about the development of the central characters
